This strategic update positions SMANEX as a key enabler in the global energy transition, offering a seamless bridge between legacy utility infrastructure and modern Smart Grid networks.


As utilities worldwide race to modernize their grids, a significant challenge remains: thousands of substations and RTUs still operate on legacy serial communications (IEC 101), isolated from modern TCP/IP-based SCADA control centers (IEC 104). Replacing these assets is cost-prohibitive.

  • Seamless Protocol Conversion: Bi-directional conversion between IEC 60870-5-101 (Serial) and IEC 60870-5-104 (Ethernet), as well as Modbus RTU/TCP support.
